We are also planning other activities over the weekend. The Reds are in town so we will likely take our reunion to Great American Ball Park – plan on bringing your family to a ball game!

2012 Reunion Recaps
Class of 1951
The Class of 1951 Where We Are Now... 60th class reunion took place on September 16 & 17, 2011. The Friday kick off event was a casual gathering with classmates at the home of Bill '50 and Sue Steinharter Friedlander '51. Just like back in the day, classmates were up bright and early to head back to the hill. Alumni Director, Debbie Heldman and Principal Jeff Brokamp '78 addressed the class, providing updates on the major construction and renovation project underway. The National Exemplar was the place to be Saturday evening as friends gathered for the reunion's 'final' event. Many thanks to Tom Markham Sue Steinharter Friedlander for their planning efforts.
Class of 1961
The Class of 1961 50th Reunion can only be described as an extravaganza! No detail was overlooked by this dynamic planning committee headed up by Corky, Gwyn, and Mark. The weekend events started downtown on the river at the Montgomery Inn Boat House. Classmates and friends mingled enjoying the conservation and cuisine... a Cincinnati staple!
The Saturday morning school tour, luncheon, and Talk Around were energetic and well attended. The class learned details regarding the campus $65 million building and renovation project, and Class of 1961 50th Reunion Class Gift project. As explained, The 50th Reunion Gift is something very special and it will be used to enhance the plaza which will flank our new music wing and gymnasium. The plaza will be the prime gathering space for all outdoor events, and will be utilized extensively by all students and the WHHS community for both curricular and extracurricular events. The space offers a seating capacity for over 250 and represents a continuation of the commons enhancement which the Class of 1961 sponsored for their 40th Reunion.
Saturday evening found 200 classmates gathering at the Kenwood Country Club. It was a spectacular evening as measured in attendance and ambiance. The final gathering of friends occurred at another Cincinnati favorite, Frisch's Mainliner. It was a 50th like no other...

For the Class of 1971, the weekend activities designed for September 16-18, 2011 was reminiscent of the great times shared at WHHS. Friday evening, The Vintage Club of Montgomery played host as good friends gathered and stories commenced. As in years gone by, September meant back to school so the Class of '71 returned to high on the hill to hear from the Principal. This year, Jeff Brokamp '78 and Alumni Director Debbie Heldman schooled the class on the Walnut Hills of today. Saturday evening 130 classmates gathered at Embassy Suites Cincinnati-RiverCenter for dinner and dancing. All in attendance were "mugged" leaving with a WHHS coffee mug... Class of 1981
The reunion planners geared the entire 30th reunion weekend events to be reminiscent of the great times shared together at WHHS. Friday June 24, 2011 classmates gathered at the new hot spot, Scene Ultra Lounge. By all accounts, it was the perfect setting for circulating, catching up with old friends, and enjoying scrumptious hor d'oeuvres. A return to the old stomping ground the morning of Saturday June 25th brought classmates together again for lunch and a talk from the Principal... Jeff Brokamp '78. A return to dining and dancing were on tap at The Westin. This location was selected because The Westin open just months before the graduation back in the day... While the class spent the weekend looking back, this hip tech savy class still connects on facebook... join them at Walnut Hills Class of'81... join the conservationcirculating about a 50th birthday party!
Class of 1986
The Class of 1986 celebrated their 25th reunion November 25 & 26, 2011. There was much to be thankful for as classmates from around the country flocked back to Cincinnati. Classmates kicked-off the holiday season at Cincinnati's premier private venue, Tonic on Fourth. Friendships were savored over bites and craft drinks... dancing was a must! Classmates were encouraged to not be tardy Saturday morning as Alumni Director Debbie Heldman and Principal Jeff Brokamp spoke about the Walnut Hills of today. The class of 1986 asked their own to give back to the school where it all began, by donating to the '86 Class Gift fund. Class of 1991
The alumni troops were out in force to assemble the Class of 1991 20th reunion, September 30 - October 2, 2011. The planning committee amassed an exciting slate of events to celebrate friendships and memories. It was a true homecoming as the class joined other alum as they flocked back for the 2011 Homecoming Football Game. Basking in the glow of a victory, the celebration continued until the wee hours at O'Bryon's Pub. Saturday morning brought classmates back to campus to walk the familiar halls and view possible locations for their commissioned artist designed benches and bike racks. This Class of 1991 Class Gift will be a collaborative effort between Artswave and WHHS students. Saturday evening's main event dazzled classmates at the Millennium Hotel. The farewell brunch at the Millennium provided a spectacular send off... until we meet again... classmates can remember the reunion with their own version of the Class of 1991 Chatterbox and their most excellent t-shirt!

Class of 2001
The Class of 2001 Eagles united after 10 years, Homecoming weekend 2011. Reunion festivities kicked off with the Homecoming Football game. Classmates enjoyed reminiscing this brisk September evening, recalling team win/loss records and marching band routines. All in attendance were wowed by the new athletic track, field and facilities. As a bonus, their beloved eagles battled out on the field for a Homecoming WIN! Back to school Saturday afternoon for the traditional reunion school tour and facilities update where classmates found the "Commons" demolished and the school gearing up for an impressive $67 million dollar renovation and building project. The evening found '01 alum enjoying one of the city's most spectacular and unique neighborhoods, at the Mt. Adams Pavilion.
