The Small Theater will be transformed into an intimate jazz club on Tuesday, October 9th starting at 7:00 p.m. as Mr. Kruze and the Walnut Hills Jazz Ensemble host Alum Rick Van Matre '73, joined by U.C.'s College Conservatory of Music faculty Jazztet. General admission tickets are still available for $5.00. Call the Music Department at 363-8510! Hurry! Seats are limited! SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE? Then Coach Clarissa White wants YOU! Dance Team tryout clinics will be held on Tuesday, October 9th and Wednesday, October 10th in the cafeteria from 3:00 5:00 p.m. Tryout date is Friday, October 12th, same time and place. Interested students MUST pick up tryout packets from the wall display unit outside of the assistant athletic director office by the gym. Tryout packets include permission forms, expectations and participation forms. JUNIORS & SOPHOMORES The PSAT test will be given at Walnut Hills High School on Saturday, October 20, 2007. Register: Mondays Thursdays, through OCTOBER 10 only, in the College Information Center (Room 218). Test Fee: $5 cash exact change, money order or personal check payable to WALNUT HILLS HIGH SCHOOL (check or money order must have your name on it). ALL THAT GLITTERS IS GOLD The Athletic Boosters and the TD Club are asking for all spectators and fans to show their school spirit by wearing gold at the following games: Boys Soccer Senior Night October 4th vs. Wilmington, Volleyball vs. Wilmington on October 4th, Varsity Football vs. Little Miami October 5th Homecoming Game, Girls Soccer October 9th vs. Kings. Look for a special long sleeved t-shirt to go on sale soon for that uniform show of support! VOLLEY FOR A CURE! PACK THE STANDS WITH PINK! The Walnut Hills Volleyball program will be hosting this game for Breast Cancer Awareness on Senior Night, Wednesday, October 10th, Walnut Hills vs. Colerain. JV game begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by senior introduction, and the Varsity matches at 7:10 p.m. Players will be wearing pink shirts and a pink ball will be used. EN GUARDE Fencing Club, back by popular demand, will meet on Tuesdays 2:30 3:30 p.m. in the Forum.
