2003-04 COLLEGE TESTS DATES

In 1998 Walnut Hills High School parents established the College Information Center (CIC) through funds raised by the annual SOS campaign.

The CIC is located in Room 218. Operating hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.; Tuesday: 8:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. (3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. by appointment only). Feel free to visit the CIC during study hall, at lunchtime, or after school.

The CIC staff and volunteers work with the counseling office to determine each student's needs and goals. Concrete help with test preparation (PSAT, PLAN, SAT I, SAT II, ACT) essay writing, application completion and interview strategies is offered.

Students and parents may use the CIC's library of college catalogs, videos, and reference books on all aspects of college selection. Personal assistance with financial and scholarship information is available. The CIC has four computers with Internet access that students use for test prep and college and scholarship searches.
